Conservation and Restoration

The Avalon Stained Glass conservation department is built around the skills and experience of Rachel and Roddy, who have gained a high reputation in the field of conservation and restoration over decades, working on and overseeing many prestigious and high profile projects both in the UK and abroad. 

Avalon Stained Glass delivers to a high standard of excellence, providing a professional and personal service. They deliver full conservation reports, photography and documentation. They  adhere to the guidelines and ethical principals outlined by The Corpus Vitrearum Medeii Aevii (CVMA) on each and every project. 

Avalon Stained Glass work closely with Client or Architect from small scale glazing repairs to whole schemes of highly painted, intricate and decorative stained glass windows. 

All conservation and restoration works are undertaken within Avalon Stained Glass Studios, based in Glastonbury, Somerset.
